Our youth program is where the pipeline starts.
Open to middle and high schoolers with any level of experience, our youth team introduces kids to team handball fundamentals in a supportive, beginner-friendly environment.
We offer both English and Spanish language programs, launching in fall of 2026.
We currently have spots available for both sides, you can secure your spot using the sign up link below.
Competitive Sport at Competitive Prices
Each season is 10 weeks, with one Monday training session per week
$30 per session, or $20/session if the season is fully prepaid

Admire Toverlani
My name is Admire Toverlani, I have a PhD in Sports, and I have been passionate about sports for my entire life. I have dedicated more than 20 years to playing professional handball with different clubs, achieving numerous league championships and cup titles in Prishtina, Kosovo. One of the highlights of my career was playing for Prishtina Handball Club, where we won multiple league championships and cup competitions. These accomplishments reflect my dedication, discipline, and commitment to excellence in sport.
My passion for handball opened the door to international opportunities. I earned my handball coaching and licensing qualification in Germany through the University of Leipzig and had the privilege of playing in the Bundesliga 2 . It was also a great honor to serve as team captain and to represent both my club Prishtina teams and my national team Kosovo in many international handball competitions. These experiences strengthened my leadership skills and deepened my understanding of the game at the highest levels.
Alongside my athletic career, I have devoted myself to education. I have been teaching Physical Education for 13 years in Europe and for the past four years in the United States. As a PE teacher, I strive to inspire students to embrace healthy lifestyles, develop confidence, work as a team, and enjoy the lifelong benefits of physical activity.
In addition to teaching, I have coached handball and athletics teams, helping young athletes develop their skills, discipline, and passion for sports. I also played basketball for three years with the University of Prishtina basketball team, where we won many titles. My experiences as an athlete, coach, and educator have given me a broad perspective on sports development and athlete success.
Sports have shaped my life, both personally and professionally, and I remain passionate about helping others achieve their full potential. I am excited about the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of handball in Denver and throughout the United States. With my international playing experience, coaching background, and dedication to education, I am ready to give my very best to inspire young athletes, build strong programs, and help elevate the sport of handball for future generations.
Mauricio Bogado
My name is Mauricio Bogado, and handball has been a fundamental part of my life since I was very young. For more than 20 years, I proudly represented my hometown of Coronel Oviedo, Paraguay, as a player, gaining experiences that shaped me both as an athlete and as a person.
Throughout my playing career, I had the opportunity to win multiple national championships in both the youth and senior men’s categories. Together with my teammates, we became national champions on several occasions, thanks to hard work, discipline, and a strong commitment to excellence.
I also had the honor of representing Paraguay’s National Handball Team, competing in several international tournaments. Wearing my country’s jersey was one of the greatest achievements of my career and allowed me to compete at the highest level while gaining invaluable international experience.
After my playing career, I embraced the role of coach with the goal of passing on my knowledge and passion for the sport to future generations. As a coach, I have also had the privilege of leading men’s teams to multiple national championship titles, reaffirming my commitment to developing athletes and promoting the growth of handball.
I remain passionate about the game and dedicated to helping players reach their full potential by emphasizing discipline, teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement—both on and off the court.
Kurt Shaffer
I’m Kurt, and for half of a decade handball has been at the center of my life. I found handball in the summer of 2021 while watching the Olympics and I’ve loved the sport ever since.
While living in Ohio, I practiced and played with my local team, the Columbus Armada, and early on I knew I wanted to do everything I could to grow this sport grow in America.
I led elementary and middle school clinics across central Ohio while practicing with the Armada, where I also met alumni from the Ohio State University program and learned more about how to properly set up and run college and grade school programs.
During this time I coached the Armada to the TAHC 2023 Championship, Columbus’ first national championship victory. Shortly thereafter I moved to Denver for professional obligations.
Since coming to Denver, I’ve continued playing handball representing multiple teams across the country. The majority of my efforts have gone towards helping undergraduates start up their own clubs at Colorado State University and the University of Denver.
I established Front Range Team Handball based off of a vision that I have for sports in America, one which is inclusive, rewarding, and engaging for players at all ages.
I recently accepted a job with USA Team Handball, becoming the operations manager for the national federation.
